Requirements:
• 4-6 years in Business to Business Outside Sales, preferably in the printing/packaging industry
• Competitive and self motivated
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
• Prior experience selling to manufacturers in multiple industries
Job Description:
• Achieve short term and long term sales objectives and goals as established by management
• Achieve, maintain and expand revenue goals and profitability on existing accounts
• Develop and formalize short term strategy to expand business with new accounts
• Identify areas within new and existing accounts where profit margins can be increased through various strategic initiatives and methods
• Continuous desire to expand knowledge about industry; i.e. new products, sales skills, vendor capabilities, and competitor core competencies.
• Development of a comprehensive understanding of customers business model and SOP
• Resolution of slow-moving inventory
• Development of strong working relationships with customers
• Develop and maintain respectful working relationships with all departments
• Effective collaboration of information with all resource groups throughout the organization
• Submit and adhere to company requirements for paperwork and other reporting requirements
