Job Description:
Our client is a well-known distribution company with locations all over the US and abroad. They are looking for an experienced EH&S Manager to oversee the daily operations and staff management of the ES&H division. Responsibiliies include: Ensures all locations are compliant with Hazardous Material Shipping, specifically U.S. DOT CFR 49 requirements.
Provides day-to-day technical advice to the ESH team and department management with regard to various international Hazardous Materials Shipping regulations.
Responsible for all aspects of environmental regulations as they pertain to products purchased, sold and distributed within the United States and International locations.
Responsible for the development, review and implementation of ESH policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.
MUST have demonstrated staff management experience as you will be overseeing staff on-site and at various locations. Some travel required.
