Requirements:
Manage the methods and procedures of the Sales Coordinators and the Administrative Account Coordinator or Production Assistant to make sure deadlines and requirements by customers and/or Sales are met. -Manage the approval process of product specifications and administrative responsibilities to include, but not to be limited to purchase orders, CADS, print cards, pricing, tooling, new item form/number, price lists, macros, etc. -Co-manage daily production meeting and coordinate workflow as required -Maintain integrity of Project List for all those who report to you and throughout the Department. -Act in a lead capacity for conflict and timeline resolution (inter and intra- departmentally) -Develop and build relationships with customers, Sales and vendors to support Company sales goals. -Manage customer selling prices with sales management guidance -Negotiate with vendors for improved costs to maximize profitability -Support the day-to-day activity and management of designated sales personnel and their customer base. -Manage, support, and facilitate the transition of accounts from the Business Development department to the Business Operations department. -Enhance and/or develop new department Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to improve workflow efficiency. -Manage day-to-day expectations and maintain the integrity of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). -Participate in the hiring, training, coordinating and s supervising of staff, providing close support and developing a strong work team. -Author employee reviews for those that report to you; obtain Director-level approval. Performance Measures (Accountability) Key performance measures that remain relatively constant over time. Annual performance measures, priorities/weightings, and specific targets will be agreed to and documented separately each performance period. -Create and maintain a department culture that is service and quality driven -Create and maintain a department culture that understands and employs “Speed to Market” -New business growth -Growth of sales with existing customers -Develop and maintain respectful working relationships with all departments. -Department process enhancement and coordination -Good knowledge of customer base and their requirements -Cultivate the department environment to function as a “team” to accomplish common goals -Effective management of project list and meet agreed-upon timelines -Maintain continuity of production meetings and enhance the value of those meetings -External and internal customer satisfaction -Managed timelines of projects -Sales coordinator and administrative coordinator and production assistant development -Department compliance to Company standard operating procedures -Enhanced technical knowledge in areas you are responsible for. Technical Skill Requirements The skills that define the position, specific practical, industry, professional skills – applied discipline or knowledge -Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook -General understanding of various types of POP displays, flexible packaging, corrugated and folding cartons and litho printing -General understanding of tooling used in the manufacture of various types of packaging, including, but not limited to corrugate and folding cartons and flexible packaging. -Mathematical aptitude and interest Performance Skill Requirements Transferable skills or competencies used to apply technical skills and accomplish position purpose -Strong negotiation skills -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Handle multiple tasks and perform in an independent capacity under fast-paced, high-pressure conditions -Problem solving skills -Professional/positive demeanor and attitude -Desire to make a positive impact and achieve goals through teamwork -Personal and professional satisfaction through continued success -Ability to work well with, and lead others -Strong work ethic -Ability to add value/enhancements every day -Develop and maintain respectful working relationships with all departments. Experience/Education/Certification Requirements -High School Diploma required, college a plus -Customer service experience -Sales experience -Management and supervisory experience

Job Description:
The basic function of the Manager of Sales Development is to oversee the day-to-day sales activities of the Business Development Department. This position will assist sales coordinators in managing projects and coordinating timelines and expectations determined by our internal and external customers along with the administration of appropriate approvals of orders and specification changes. This position will interface with all levels of management.
